Hello,

This is from Twinsen in Shanghai, I happly found that you might be interested
in the same subject as I do - Reading. Below message states what I'd like to
share with you in this new year's day.

I've been always curious how people become successful. Though this is a very
broad topic, one character I found very common among those who have achieved
marvelous results. That is " The ability to focus".

To focus one's attention and resources (time and money) could greatly improve
your quality and efficiency in your daily life. You may have already experienced
the so called "flow of work" , when someday you are so focused on a task that
even forget about time passing by.

The question is how to gain the power of focus and is it possible to gain?
Answer is definitely "Yes". Like many traits, focus is another important habit we
want to establish. Benjamine Franklin has a note book tracking his daily performance
on twelve virtues he wants to establish. I have tried this method myself, it is useful.

Any idea you want to share in this group? email me at twinsenw@sh163.net
or add my msn: gwu1976@hotmail.com. We can make a better future together!

Best regards,
Twinsen Wu (吴刚)

This work from Hendrik van Loon was written in a attractive story-telling manner . It guide you through from the time when our nearest ancestors stilling wandering in the cradle of life , to the very first twilight of human civilization of egypt, then the Greek followed by Rome, rise of the Christian...

Knowing where we from always help us understand where we are today and our direction in the future. As a literated creature we have the luxury of reading our path. It is told in the history, great civilzation always doomed from within. From a individual perspective, what we are doing on daily basis need to be align with our values and goals within, otherwise you will feel a out-of-control.
